Rocio Nogales (Chair|Moderador)

EMES International Research Network.

She graduated from the University of Seville, Spain (BA in Communications), and earned a Masters in Art Management at Carnegie Mellon University (US), a Masters in Art History at the University of Pittsburgh (US), and a Masters in Management Science at the University of Liege (Belgium). She is currently completing her PhD thesis at the University of Barcelona. Her professional experience includes the cultural non-profit sector, where she managed a social enterprise initiative in a community arts centre in the US. Her research interest is social innovation and the management strategies operating in third sector organizations.

Se graduó en la Universidad de Sevilla, España (Licenciatura en Comunicación), y obtuvo un Master en Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Pittsburgh (EE.UU.), y un Master en Ciencias de la Gestión en la Universidad de Liege (Bélgica). Actualmente está terminando su tesis doctoral en la Universidad de Barcelona. Su experiencia profesional incluye el sector cultural sin ánimo de lucro, donde es gerente de una empresa social con iniciativa en un centro de artes comunitario en EE.UU. Su invesigación se basa en la innovación social y la gerencia de operaciones en organizaciones del tercer sector.
